Fava de Bolota: a árvore ícone do estado do Tocantins inspira design com identidade. |
A inspiração agora é semente.
Mulheres do Tocantins.
identidade local, empreendedorismo e sustentabilidade.
Na culminância dessa consultoria assentada na fusão do design
imitam a realidade.

The flower becomes seed
Inspiration now is a seed. The flower of Fava de Bolota – Symbolic tree from Tocantins – obeys to natural
circle, and makes room to green beans. Before coming out of the scene, seduced
my attention, guiding to creation. I took the shape, texture and color palette.
It impacted with the beauty of an early spring and in good time unveiled the spectacle
of pure emotion. Essence also collected in the name and transformed into the
collection of objects aimed at the Projeto Mulheres do Tocantins (Tocantins Women Project). In the
sensibility of the feminine hands it becomes to blossom in details present in
ceramics, basketry and textiles with the scent of local identity,
entrepreneurship and sustainability.
At the culmination of this consultancy based on the fusion of design
with the craft, I breathe celebration. At the culmination of this consultancy

invitation of the Sebrae Tocantins and Taquaraçu Tourist Structuring Project
(locality that houses the artisan community), learning and experiences together
with tenacious and dreamy women strengthen my profession's ideals. Refresh
reflections of how much design is made with the power of social transformation,
the rescue of self-esteem, the preservation of tangible and intangible
heritage. It is always surprising to add a territory, to ask permission of its
inhabitants and to immerse themselves in identity, in culture impregnated by
songs, in the poetics of the landscape, in the regionality of customs, in
private vocabulary, in accents, in loose conversations and simpler acts of
daily life.
The result of the range of products of the Collection Fava de Bolota brings in aesthetics a caress to the bonds of belonging. The result of the range of products of the Collection Fava de Bolota brings in aesthetics a caress to the bonds of belonging. It is leafy, deep root inspiration with the earth's feelings and crafts inherited from the ancestors. In shapes, colors and textures, vases, baskets, sousplats and toys, referring to the place of origin. They carve out memories, weave narratives, intertwine life stories and unite poetry in the point of delicacy. The design exposes the trapped traces of nature and the warmth of strong hands through the metamorphosis of the raw material. Subtle hands that with urucum painted the buriti fiber and mastered it skillfully in the secular weaving of basketwork and crochet technique. Hands that shaped the clay in the richness of the meticulously imitating reality. Hands with thread and needle made the seam joint of vocation, craft and tradition guarding the mold of originality. Hands that imprinted the fingerprints of affection. In Taquaraçu a feminine spring demarcates new seasons. Flowers a new time.
